I believed that I would leave my mark on the world which would last forever.
I realize now that I’ve only made it in sand.

You still have plenty of time to make whatever imprint you want on the world as long as you exist. Start to leave your mark in granite.

It’s difficult to see the mark that you make on others in the here and now. Do good and be generous and the impact you have will be much larger than you ever imagined.
