Everyone should receive flowers on a regular basis in my opinion. I wish I could send you some right now. And anyone that reads this confession - go get some flowers and give them to someone today. They don’t have to be fancy or store bought. Pick some (even one) and hand it to someone you know. Maybe it will even become a habit.

Don’t wait for someone else to do it. Buy yourself flowers and don’t feel bad about it. Who loves you more than yourself anyway?

I agree with Lady. Buy yourself flowers (or pick yourself flowers) with no regrets.

I never got flowers either until I met a man who loves me inside and out. (I was 26 when I met him and had already been married and had 2 kids.) I say this because it doesn’t matter what you look like, if you are giving life a chance by doing what makes you happy and meeting people who are doing that too, then you will find the one who completes you. Until then, certainly give yourself flowers, you definitely deserve them, and their beauty will bring you joy!

my friend’s father delivered flowers to my sister and I for our birthday because we’d never received flowers. he died 2 months later….it was the best present I’ve ever received.

I’m 31. Never been given flowers. Never celebrated Valentines Day. Never even celebrated an aniversary. I buy myself flower, but it doesn’t make me happy … just serves as a sad reminder of my pathetic self.

@Des
Valentine’s Day is a corporate generated event to sell stuff. You only become sad if you buy into their made up event. The first step is to find happiness is to love yourself.
