I fear that when we meet a more intelligent life form…
it will treat us exactly the way that we currently treat the animals around us. Think about that…

I have thought about this too. If we were to find an alien life form that is less intelligent than us, what would we do? We’d probably perform experiment after experiment on it. Why wouldn’t a more intelligent life form do the same to us?

I never really thought about this before, but it does seem to make sense. I doubt we’ll be meeting any life forms in my lifetime, but may be an issue for future generations.

We don’t treat animals as well as we should and because so much of the mistreatment is done out of site, there isn’t the outcry that there should be.
