As a pet owner, you should have shown more responsibility and taken her to a shelter. Abandoning dogs in hope that someone will take them is a good way to let your former pet starve to death.

While I don’t approve with what you did, I too, hope that your dog found a good home.

I always do feel anxious about dogs tied up outside of stores. Thanks for making me feel even worse about pets that may not have been there for just a few minutes…

As an animal lover, I have to say that doing that is despicable. I cannot find a justification for doing this. There are many people who would gladly take your pet for free if you don’t want it anymore. For all you know, that dog might have just starved to death outside that market. I’m sorry, but that’s unforgiveable.

But at least they had the courage to admit it. Sure it was wrong, but admitting it is the first step to learning from our mistakes.

Did you honestly think a grocery store was the place to find your pet a home? Ever heard of an animal shelter? What you did is truly awful and shameful. I hope that poor innocent animal is healthy, and didn’t starve or get hit by a car.
