I think it is if you are running alone for a lifetime, but there are certainly times when running alone is the best thing for you. The fact that you are running means that there is a good chance that you will find a running partner at some point. It’s when you stop running all together that it makes it impossible.

You are mainly in this world for yourself. Take out all other factors, like family, friends, work, shelter, food, everything, and what are you left with? God? No. Love? No. You’re left with yourself, so take care of yourself. Sometimes running alone is the only way to ensure that you’ll get your stuff together, because people tend to slow you down.
